Josh, Parker, and Thad are good friends who have been gaming together since the late 2010s. Each of them has different passions, from competitive MOBA play to outdoor sports to board games, but they are united in the belief that people should Just Play Together.
The goal of JPT is to build an online community of people who want to play games together, whether they are in person or over the internet. The JPT founders hope to inspire this through posting competitive analysis, reviews, lets play videos, and more to provide entertaining content, while encouraging people to participate in local and online gaming groups via social media and forum posts.
In addition to the goals of the JPT blog, the JPT LLC was created in 2024 and is focused on selling rare anime figurines, manga & comics, Pokemon cards, plushies, board games, books and more.
In 2024, the gang took a trip to Japan and Josh got inspired to collect everything cool he saw there, returning with 2 brand new suitcases full of pokemon cards, plushies, and anime figurines. This was the beginning of a dangerous descent into madness as he scoured the web for rare figurines from his favorite series.
The JPT shop was initially designed to be an accompanying piece to the content Josh plans to make. He plans to do video essays, reviews, and more. Rather than trying to seek external sponsors, the end of each video will be a little advertising segment for the shop highlighting some of the items Josh has related to the show & why they earned a spot in his collection & now can be part of yours! Additionally, due to Pokemon becoming the hottest thing in the world, Sealed Pokemon packs are for sale along with singles at prices that will beat the Ebay/Market average pricing.
A small subset of items will drastically exceed market price. These are from the Josh “KingNorton” personal collection. These items sat on Josh’s display shelf for an extended period of time or otherwise have sentimental value to him that have been put for sale. These items will have the option of coming with a handwritten or printed signed certificate of authenticity verifying it as part of the KingNorton collection. Depending on the importance of the item, you might be surprised to find it includes a letter or an essay, detailing when Josh got the item, why it is important to him, what he thinks of the series it is from as a whole, and more. If you believe Josh will someday reach greater heights, this is the type of item that historians and fans will find to be extremely rare and cool in the future.
